Twentysecond Sunday - 29th August To 04th September 2010

The novenas for the feast of the Nativity of Our Blessed Virgin Mother will begin from Mon 30th Aug’10 to Tues 7th Sept’10 everyday after the evening mass. The theme for this year is the Seven “I AM” Statements of Jesus from the gospel of St. John. The novenas will be conducted by the Sunday School catechists and children. Parents, youth and children are invited to attend this Marian devotion in large numbers. Please check the notice board for the different offerings for the novena days. During the Nativity novena days, the novenas to St. Anthony & Our Lady of Perpetual Succour will be at 7.00pm followed by mass. The silent adoration on First Friday 3rd Sept’10 will begin at 6.00pm followed by conducted adoration at 6.30pm. The mass will begin as usual at 7.00pm.
- The liturgy and backdrop for next Sunday 5th Sept’10 will be done by St. Lawrence community.
- The Vinpal Youth on behalf of the parish, wish to felicitate the Teachers of our parish with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 5.30pm on Sun 5th Sept’10 followed by a felicitation ceremony in the first floor meeting room. Names to be given to Parish Councillors, the parish office or to Fr. Reehan latest by Mon 30th Aug’10.
- Divine Mercy intercessory prayers on 2nd Sept’10 from 11am to 12 noon in the chapel. Divine Mercy Adoration on 4th Sept’10 from 5.30pm to 6.15pm in the church.
- Eucharistic Ministers will have their Holy Hour in the chapel on Sun 5th Sept’10 at 4.00pm.
- The Parish Bulletin Pallotti Notes will be ready for distribution on Fri 3rd Sept’10 by 7.30pm in the parish office – parish councilors, please take note. The Editorial Team of the bulletin invite parishioners who are well acquainted with Coreldraw & Photoshop to render help for designing the Parish Bulletin on a regular basis.
- A visit by bus, to Mount Mary’s Basilica in Bandra, is being organized for the Sick & Aged and Senior Citizens of our parish on Mon 13th Sept;10. The bus will leave the church premises at 8.00am. Those interested may register in the parish office with Rs.100/- during office hours, latest by 9th Sept’10.
- First Death Anniversary mass for the soul of Mary Elizabeth Swamy will be on Fri 3rd Sept’10 at 7.00pm.
- Annual Thanksgiving Mass of Blessed Mother Teresa Community is on Sun 5th Sept’10 at 9.15am in the hall.
